"Women and children now have reliable transportation as they begin their lives free of domestic violence and abuse."
This is the Fourth Annual SafePlace Car Care Event where TIAA members have donated their time and talent to do their part to break the cycle of domestic abuse. TIAA member Loui Sirianni is thrilled to be a part of the program. "This is the best thing I’ve ever done in my uniform."
Some of the services to be performed include: brake repair, replacement tires, transmission repair, tune-ups and oil changes. The repairs will take place at the Austin Community College Riverside Campus on October 13th from 8am to 3pm.
